At Be Heard by Kimberley, we understand the unique challenges faced by low vision or blind individuals. Our counselling services are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can express your feelings and experiences. 

We offer both individual and group sessions tailored to your needs. While you can view our availability online, booking will be managed exclusively by our counsellor. Your journey towards good mental health starts here.

Be Heard by Kimberley offers services Australia-wide. Sessions are primarily conducted via phone or online, with limited availability for in-person consultations in South-East Queensland.

"& Beyond Vision" Support Group Program:

A safe space that is designed to allow a group of blind and / or low vision individuals to talk about their journey, explore challenges and solutions, discuss topics relevant to the group members, and create connections with others experiencing similar circumstances. Each group will be specifically tailored to suit the requirements of the participants.

Group therapy is conducted over 10 weeks, with a 2-hour session each week.

Disability Awareness Training and Workshops:

Are you someone living with low vision or blindness and embarking on an exciting new adventure in your career? And you’ve realised that your new team might benefit from increased understanding and awareness of sensory disability…but you don’t feel up to the task of educating them?

Maybe you are part of an organisation who is looking for a presenter with lived experience who is able to shine a light on sensory disabilities, and help educate your workforce in an engaging and interactive manner.

Our experienced facilitator is able to provide Disability Awareness Training or specifically-tailored workshops. Please reach out to discuss your requirements.
